Rhassoul and the Moroccan Earth
A lava clay quarried in the Atlas and used on skin and hair alike.
Ghassoul — also written rhassoul — is a mineral clay extracted in Morocco. Mixed with warm water it becomes a silken cream.
In the hammam it is used to purify skin and hair without the stripping of a detergent.
